Absolutely. Upload your existing resume and our AI resume builder will instantly reformat it using professional resume templates. You can then use our AI resume optimization feature to improve your resume summary, work experience bullet points, and skills section - making it more ATS-friendly and compelling to hiring managers. It's the fastest way to refresh an outdated resume without starting from scratch.

Our AI resume optimizer uses artificial intelligence to rewrite and enhance your resume's professional summary, work experience, and education sections - improving clarity, keyword relevance, and overall impact. The AI resume writer tailors your content to the specific job title or job description you're targeting, ensuring your resume is both ATS-compatible and compelling to human recruiters. Your original resume data is always safely preserved.

Yes. Our AI cover letter generator writes a tailored cover letter from any resume in your account, usually in about 15 seconds. Pick a resume, add the job title, company and job description (optional, but they make the letter far more specific to the role), and choose a tone: Professional, Enthusiastic, Career Change or Referral. You can then edit every line, address it to the right person, choose a layout that matches your resume and download it as a PDF. Each letter uses 1 AI credit, and AI credits are included with our paid plans. Editing and downloading are free, and no credit is used if generation fails.

It's designed not to. The AI is instructed to use only what's already in your resume and not to invent employers, dates, metrics or qualifications. Like any AI tool, it can still make mistakes, so read your letter carefully before you send it: replace anything in [square brackets], check the role and company names, and make sure every claim is true. You're responsible for the final letter you send.

To write your letter, we send your name, the professional details from your chosen resume and the job details you enter to our AI provider. Your email address, phone number and location are not sent to the AI provider; they're added to the letter from your resume when you preview or download it. Your cover letters are saved privately in your account so you can come back to edit or download them, and you can delete them at any time. We do not sell your personal information. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Unlike most resume builder websites that lock you into a monthly subscription, ResJo offers a simple one-time payment - no recurring charges, no auto-renewals. ResJo is a global resume builder available worldwide, we accept all major international credit and debit cards regardless of your country. Whether you're a job seeker in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, or anywhere else, you can access our professional resume templates and AI resume builder with your existing card. The best resume format in 2026 depends on your career stage. A chronological resume format - listing experience from newest to oldest - is the most widely accepted and ATS-friendly format for experienced professionals. A functional resume format works better for career changers or those with employment gaps. A combination resume format works for mid-career professionals with diverse skills. ResJo's free resume builder offers templates in all three formats, with AI guidance to help you choose the right resume format for your situation.

You won’t be charged again after your current plan expires. There’s no need to cancel, let plan validity exhaust on it's own. Unlike some competitors, we offer one-time payment plans with clear validity periods. You get what you pay for, with no hidden surprises.
